This flat-rate repair service for out-of-warranty OPPO products is offered to owners of OPPO products in case they need repair service after the original warranty has expired.  The flat-rate cost is based on the product model and covers all labor and parts required.  Certain exclusions apply.  See Repair Terms and Conditions for details.

This service is a "mail-in" or "carry-in" type of service.  Upon receiving your order for the repair service, OPPO will direct you to send the product to an OPPO service center.  The customer is responsible for shipping the product to the OPPO service center.  After the service is completed OPPO will ship the product back to the customer. 

OPPO will provide a 90-day limited warranty against the same problem as originally reported for the repaired or replacement product.  If your repaired or replacement product develops a problem during normal usage within the first 30 days after we repair it - even if it is a new problem not originally reported - OPPO will repair it for free under our 30-day repair assurance.

TO OBTAIN SERVICE, please follow these instructions:

  • Contact OPPO customer service via on our Contact Us page with details of the problem claimed, product model, serial number, date and place of the original purchase, and length of the applicable original or extended warranty.
  • If it is determined that your product needs out-of-warranty service, you will be instructed to pre-pay for the flat-rate repair service.  Upon receiving payments, an Order ID or Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number will be issued to you along with return instructions and address of an OPPO service center.
  • Pack the product securely, preferably in the original packaging, with your assigned Order ID or RMA number marked clearly on the outside of the package.  Send the package postpaid and insured to the OPPO service center to obtain service.

Repair Terms and Conditions:

1. Service. OPPO will service your OPPO product for the flat-rate charges stated (unless such charges are revised with your prior oral or written consent). As part of the service OPPO may provide both parts and labor, but may direct that you perform certain easy diagnostic and trouble-shooting steps and replace certain readily installable parts  yourself. In servicing your product, OPPO may use new, used or refurbished parts or products. OPPO may also replace the entire product with a new, used or refurbished product at OPPO’s sole discretion.  OPPO will retain the replaced part or product that is exchanged under service as its property, and the replacement part or product will become your property. Replaced parts and products are generally repairable and are exchanged or repaired by OPPO for value. If applicable law requires OPPO to return a replaced item to you, you agree to pay OPPO the additional cost of the replacement item.

2. Service Options. OPPO may facilitate service through one or more of the following options:

(i) Direct mail-in or carry-in service. If OPPO determines that your product needs to be serviced at an OPPO service center, OPPO will provide you with a shipping address of the service center and direct you to send in the product.  You are responsible for the cost of shipping the product to the OPPO service center.  OPPO assumes absolutely no responsibility prior to receiving the product.  You are responsible for sufficiently packaging the product against shipping damage.  OPPO recommends that you use a traceable shipping method and obtain insurance for shipping damage and loss.  Once service is complete, the OPPO service center will return the repaired product or a replacement product to you. For customers located within the 50 states and District of Columbia of the United States, OPPO will pay for shipping to your location via ground courier service or parcel post.  For customers located in a foreign country or a U.S. territory, you are responsible for the shipping cost to and from your location and any custom duties and taxes.  For customers who require faster shipping to your location, you agree to pay for the incremental shipping cost to upgrade the shipping method from ground or parcel post service.  OPPO will provide you with a quote of shipping cost upon receiving your request of shipping to a foreign location or upgrade of shipping method.

(ii) Do-It-Yourself Parts service allows you to service your own product. If Do-It-Yourself Parts service is available in the circumstances, OPPO will ship you a replacement part accompanied by instructions on installation and any requirements for the return of the replaced part. If you fail to return the replaced part as instructed, you will be charged a non-return fee as agreed by you at the time you authorized service. When OPPO does not require the return of the replaced part, OPPO will ship you a replacement part accompanied by instructions on installation and any requirements for the disposal of the replaced part. OPPO is not responsible for any labor costs relating to Do-It-Yourself Parts service.

3. Diagnostic Fee. OPPO may charge you a diagnostic fee including shipping charges, equivalent to the flat-rate repair service charge, or of no more than one hundred ($100) dollars US, whichever is lower, ("Diagnostic Fee"), plus applicable tax, if OPPO inspects your product and determines based on the inspection that the product does not require service. If OPPO determines, while inspecting your product, that service is needed due to the failure of parts that are neither supplied by OPPO nor OPPO-branded, OPPO may return the product to you without servicing it, and may charge you the Diagnostic Fee plus applicable sales tax.

4. Service Exclusions. The flat-rate repair service does not cover cosmetic damage, normal wear and tear, and damage due accident, abuse, neglect, misuse (including faulty installation, repair, or maintenance by anyone other than OPPO or an OPPO Authorized Service Provider), unauthorized modification, extreme environment (including extreme temperature or humidity), extreme physical or electrical stress or interference, fluctuation or surges of electrical power, lightning, static electricity, fire, acts of God or other external causes.  OPPO reserves the right to refuse service for such damage.  In such event, OPPO may return the product to you without servicing it, and may charge you the Diagnostic Fee, plus applicable tax.  Alternatively, if service requires additional labor or parts that are not covered by the flat-rate service charges, OPPO will ask for your approval of a revised estimate. If you do not agree that OPPO may revise the estimated charges, OPPO will return your product and may charge you the Diagnostic Fee plus applicable sales tax.

5. Payment. The flat-rate service charge must be pre-paid.  If you have agreed on a revised estimated charges, you will pay the estimated charges stated when you authorized service. Your payment is due when the product is returned or a replacement product is provided to you. The estimated charges include all parts, labor, and shipping required for service, plus applicable tax.

6. Abandoned Product. Unless you provide alternative instructions, OPPO will ship your repaired or replacement product to the mailing address you furnished when you authorized service. If your product is returned to OPPO because delivery could not be completed at the address given, OPPO will attempt to contact you for an alternative mailing address. If you do not provide an address at which OPPO or its agent may deliver your product within sixty (60) days after the original delivery attempt, OPPO will notify you that it considers your product to be abandoned. OPPO will send notice to the mailing address you furnished when you authorized service. In the event that your product is abandoned, OPPO may dispose of your product in accordance with applicable provisions of law, and, specifically, may sell your product at a private or public sale to pay for any outstanding service performed. OPPO reserves its statutory and any other lawful liens for unpaid charges.

7. Warranty. In servicing your product, OPPO warrants (1) that service will be performed in a workmanlike manner; and (2) that all parts or products used in the service will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for ninety (90) days from the date of service ("warranty period"); and (3) that the entire repaired or replaced product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for thirty (30) days from the date of service ("repair assurance period"). This warranty is an express limited warranty. If non-conforming service is provided, or a defect arises in a replacement part or product during the ninety (90) days warranty period, or a new defect arises in the repaired or replacement product during the thirty (30) days repair assurance period, at its option, OPPO will (1) repair the part or product, using new, used or refurbished replacement parts, or (2) replace the part or product with a new, used or refurbished equivalent part or product, or (3) refund the sums paid to OPPO for the service.

THIS WARRANTY AND REMEDY ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES, AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICE AND PARTS OR PRODUCTS PROVIDED. OPPO SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO SUCH ITEMS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF OPPO CANNOT LAWFULLY DISCLAIM IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THE EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY.

Some states, provinces and jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or exclusions or limitations on the duration of implied warranties or conditions, so these limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. The express limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state, province or jurisdiction. FOR CONSUMERS WHO ARE COVERED BY CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS OR REGULATIONS IN THEIR COUNTRY OF RESIDENCE, THE BENEFITS CONFERRED BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE IN ADDITION TO ALL RIGHTS AND REMEDIES CONVEYED BY SUCH CONSUMER PROTECTION LAWS AND REGULATIONS.

8. Limitation of Liability. IF ANY PRODUCT SHOULD BE DAMAGED OR LOST WHILE IN OPPO'S CUSTODY, OPPO’S LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE AFFECTED PRODUCT. OTHERWISE OPPO'S ENTIRE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER WITH RESPECT TO THE SERVICE OF YOUR PRODUCT, WHETHER DUE TO OPPO’S NEGLIGENCE OR TO ANY OTHER REASON, IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS THAT YOU PAY OPPO FOR SUCH SERVICE. OPPO HAS NO LIABILITY WHATSOEVER FOR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SUCH AS LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE. YOUR ONLY REMEDY UNDER THE REPAIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS IS TO SEEK RECOVERY OF DAMAGES AGAINST OPPO IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED WHAT YOU PAID OPPO FOR THE SERVICE.

9. Availability of Service. Service under these Repair Terms and Conditions is offered in the United States of America by OPPO Digital, Inc. Service under these Repair Terms and Conditions is not available where prohibited by law.

10. Customer Data Protection. You agree and understand that it is necessary for OPPO to collect, process and use your data in order to perform the service obligations under these Repair Terms and Conditions. OPPO will protect your information in accordance with OPPO Customer Privacy Policy available at URL www.oppodigital.com/privacypolicy.aspx. If you wish to have access to the information that OPPO holds concerning you or if you want to make changes, please contact OPPO directly via any means listed in the "Contact Us" web page on the www.oppodigital.com web site.

11. Subcontractors. OPPO may subcontract with other service providers for the service of your product.

12. Governing Law. Without regard to its conflict of law provisions, the laws of the state of California govern these Repair Terms and Conditions for residents of the United States of America.

13. Conflict of Terms; Services in English. In the event of a conflict between different translations of these terms, the English translation will prevail. Certain support services and related documents may be available in English only.

14. Complete Agreement; Severability; Force Majeure. These terms and conditions govern OPPO's service obligation. No other oral or written terms or conditions apply, including ones in any purchase order that you provide to OPPO. OPPO does not authorize any variance or modification of these Repair Terms and Conditions. If any provision of these Repair Terms and Conditions is held to be illegal or unenforceable, that provision will be deemed to have never been part of the Repair Terms and Conditions, and the remaining terms and conditions will continue to be enforceable. OPPO is not responsible for any failures or delays in performing Service that are due to events outside OPPO’s reasonable control.

NOTICES TO CALIFORNIA CONSUMERS

An estimate for repairs, as required (section 9844 of the California Business and Professions Code), shall be given to the customer by the service dealer in writing. The service dealer may not charge for work done or parts supplied in excess of the estimate without the prior consent of the customer. Where provided in writing the service dealer may charge a reasonable fee for services provided in determining the nature of the malfunction in preparation of a written estimate for repair. A buyer of this product in California has the right to have this product serviced and repaired during the warranty period. The warranty period will be extended for the number of whole days that the product has been out of the buyer’s hands for warranty repairs. If a defect exists during the warranty period, the warranty will not expire until the defect has been fixed. The warranty period also will be extended if the warranty repairs have not been performed due to delays caused by circumstances beyond the control of the buyer, or if the warranty repairs did not remedy the defect and the buyer notifies the manufacturer or seller of the failure of the repairs within 60 days after they were completed. If, after a reasonable number of attempts, the defect has not been fixed, the buyer may return this product for a replacement or a refund subject, in either case, to deduction of a reasonable charge for usage. The time extension does not affect the protection or remedies the buyer has under other laws.
